Delivering Critical Infrastructure Under Pressure

Faced with the unprecedented challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Paneltech, in collaboration with its subsidiary company IdealPod (https://idealpod.co.uk/), played a crucial role in the rapid construction of the NHS Nightingale Hospital, Exeter. This project, conceived in April 2020, was delivered during a national lockdown, presenting significant hurdles in material supply and manufacturing. The entire project team worked tirelessly to transform a redundant retail unit into a 116-bed hospital in just 57 days.

Paneltech and IdealPod provided a range of essential services, prioritising hygiene and infection control:

– IdealPod IPS handwash pods, designed for effective hand hygiene.

– IdealPod IPS systems for washrooms and WCs, including DOC-M compliant solutions. These systems incorporate anti-microbial surfaces that inhibit bacterial growth.

– Hygienic anti-microbial wall cladding, offering durable and easy-to-clean surfaces that reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

– CGL toilet cubicles and changing facilities, providing robust and hygienic solutions.
